History of NBC
The first Baptist service in Nairn took place in Nairn Community Centre on 16 April 1989. It was started by a group of 12 people who were in membership of Castle Street Baptist Church, Inverness, most of whom lived in or close to Nairn. On 2 May 1992, Nairn Baptist Church was officially commissioned by the Baptist Union as a church in its own right. Our current pastor is Rev Tim Power who has been with us since August 2008. Previous pastors were Rev Scott Mcintosh and Rev George Ayoma.
